Historical Background

LAN Associates, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Surveying, Inc. (LAN) was founded in 1965 by John A. Lacz, Professional Engineer & Professional Planner.   LAN began in Hawthorne, New Jersey with a handful of individuals and John Lacz’s vision to create the most dynamic architectural and engineering firm possible.  Since that time, LAN has grown to become one of the largest full-service architectural and engineering firms in northern New Jersey, with a staff of approximately 70 employees.

LAN’s main corporate office, officially opened on December 1, 2000, occupies approximately 15,000 square feet at 445 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park, NJ.  LAN also has a branch office Goshen, New York; and a satellite office in Trumbull, Connecticut.

Because of our long, well-respected history and multi-disciplined activities, our clients can normally expect to obtain a one-stop source for professional services at LAN.
